Recommendation points from Earth Science Deputy-IIS 2005 Annual Working meeting
1. The working meeting received strategic themes: “Be at the frontier and double your productivity” as reference
2. Need strategy which has orientation to performance and unity achievement at certain time (Indicator and milestone)
3. To achieve the goals, the task force need to arrange/develop programs that:
- Encourage the multi-finding activities and programs
- Could lead to the desired human resources ratio
- Putting forward the programs that encourage investment, equipment rejuvenation, and facilities quality improvement with multi-finding scheme.
- Could utilize the competent potential in domestic or oversea with resource sharing scheme
4. To allocate the resources, the impartial policy from head of IIS is needed, in order to rejuvenate and strengthen supporting infrastructures and facilities according to the scheme 30%-40% of 2005-2009 earth science deputy development budgets.
5. Need adjustment to organization structure that adaptive to facilities and infrastructure (sarpras) Adjustment
6. Recommend to the head of deputy for earth science and IIS to adopted a policy that has impact on target: Be at frontier, and double your productivity
7. The adopted policies should refer to budgeting and financing system scenario, compiled with considering to APBN Condition, PP 20 (2005), government policy about PNS and TNI welfare, and several incentive systems for IPTEK
